PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of guiding the nesting area for raptorial birds such as goshawks in a development project that falls on their habitat to a site not affected by the project activities so as not to affect their breeding.;SOLUTION: This method comprises the following: artificial nests are set in a Japanese black pine and/or red pine forest that is distributed within the habitat of raptorial birds such as goshawks. The nests are set each at the branch part of each of a plurality of selected nesting trees, each of the trees to be selected is located at a gentle slope of ≤10° gradient or flat ground, being ≥12 m high and ≥30 cm in breast height diameter, having a branch part at a position ≥7 m high and being widely opened upward.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
