PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that at present nesting trees of a pair of hawk eagles are actually looked for one by one through a field investigation to determine nesting places on the basis of the result, and there is a risk that an area having a potential nesting environment is excluded from a protection area, and in contrast, determining entirety of a wide core area as the protection area causes a restrincion of act of development.;SOLUTION: As for the places suitable for nesting of hawk eagles etc., an altitude zone and an angle of inclination fitting in well with the nesting environment of forestal raptorial birds that are investigation object kinds associated with grids and a suitable range relating to geological conditions and vegetative conditions, etc., are set on the basis of a statistical procedure result of past field investigations in other areas, an investigation object area is divided into grids, grid data with information on the geological conditions, etc. added thereto for each grid is created, grids included in the suitable rage are extracted from the grid data, then, the grids are presumed as the places suitable for the nesting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
