PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly wash and disinfect an endoscope for a short time by always supplying a new disinfection solution to a washing tank without reusing the disinfection solution by using active water of inexpensive sodium hypochlorite for the disinfection solution, to safely handle the disinfection solution and to discard the disinfection solution after use without polluting the water quality of a public water area. SOLUTION: An endoscope washing and disinfecting apparatus is constituted so that the washing solution and the disinfection solution respectively stored in tanks 13 and 14 are changed over to be successively sent to a washing tank 2 to perform washing, disinfection, and rinsing in this order and equipped with the almost circular immersion tank 2a provided to the washing tank 2 to install the endoscope 4, discharge nozzles 6 and 7 for discharging the washing solution or the disinfection solution to the immersion tank 2a and an overflow port 11 for discharging the washing solution or the disinfection solution.
