PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function to a loosely coupled multiprocessor system for suppressing the disk input-output request of one of both systems sharing a disk in a range set in advance and then minimizing the influence to be given to the disk input-output performance of the other system.;SOLUTION: An input-output request inhibition factor setting device 14 is provided with an input-output request inhibition factor setting means 141 which analyzes the inhibition factor set for each disk unit and sets the analysis result at an input-output request inhibition control information storage part 142 and the part 142 which stores the set information to be referred to by an input- output controller 1. The part 142 contains an input-output request inhibition information storage table 143 where the name, inhibition factor, inhibition flag (A1), inhibition time (A2) and non-inhibition time (A3) of each shared disk unit 3 are recorded.
