TIMING SYNCHRONIZING METHOD AMONG NODES IN RING TYPE NETWORK AND ITS NODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve synchronization with coincident timing by dissolving deviation of synchronization among nodes even in a ring type network.;SOLUTION: Nodes are at a state to be shown in Figure 1 (a) in the case of a normal time. When they are synchronized, for example, a node 2a transmits an instruction frame to be transferred to a bypass mode to nodes 2b to 2d via a network 1. The nodes 2b to 2d is transferred to the bypass mode after repeating the instruction frame when the instruction frame is received. Thus, when the instruction frame makes a circuit of the network and returns to the node 2a, the nodes are at a state to be shown in Figure 1 (b). When the node 2a transmits a frame for synchronization at the state, the nodes 2b to 2d bypasses the frame for synchronization and recognizes reception of the frame for synchronization by their frame processing part 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
