PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inputting coordinate position on display screen and a device for inputting coordinate position on display screen in which the disadvantage of a conventional pointing device is removed by paying attention to a figure, alphabet, katakana (the square form of the Japanese syllabary) (hiragana (the cursive form of the Japanese syllabary)) or command and performing only its voice recognition.;SOLUTION: A figure, alphabet or katakana (hiragana) is attached to the sensitive area on a display screen displayed according to the content of a program. The figure, alphabet or katakana (hiragana) attached to the area shows that this area is the sensitive area. The figure or the like, for example, attached to the area to be clicked is called with a clear voice. After the voice is recognized, the program of the sensitive area with the figure is started.
