MOUNT TYPE FLAME CUT MASK FOR PHOTOGRAPHING LENS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that flare and a ghost image is liable to be caused by harmful incident light from the outside of field in a photographing lens, especially, a wide-angle lens or a wide-angle type zoom lens and image quality is remarkably deteriorated, then a lens hood is mounted as its prevention countermeasure but the effect of mounting the lens hood is not obtained satisfactorily.;SOLUTION: This flare cut mask 1 is used for the photographing lens of a system by which a filter mount frame 2a in front of a lens barrel is not rotated at the time of focusing and zooming. The mask 1, in which a window hole 1a corresponding to the shape of a photographic image plane is bored, is mounted on the front of the photographing lens 2 and is used together with the lens hood 3, thus the shielding effect of the harmful incident light from the outside of the field is enhanced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
