PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule pigment having a reversible heat-discoloring property, which is capable of finely adjusting a discoloring temperature and is applied in various fields of such as temperature-displaying, decorating, toys, training elements and the like. SOLUTION: The microcapsule pigment having a reversible heat-discoloring property, has in a microcapsule, essential four components composed of (a) an organic compound having electron-donating and coloring property, (b) an electron-acceptable compound, (c) a reaction medium to determine the temperature in occurring of coloring reaction of the above (a) and (b), and (d) an acrylic-polymerized aromatic hydrocarbon resin as an agent for adjusting discoloring temperature.
