MILD SOLVENT TYPE COATING FOR PREPARATION OF SURFACES AND METHOD OF COATING FINISH USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful two components type coating as a preparation of surfaces and to provide a method of coating finish capable of forming a duplex coating having a beautiful finish appearance and high durability without infringing a surface of material or an old coating film using the same.;SOLUTION: The two components type organic solvent coating composed of premixing a crosslinking agent (II) to a base coating (I) so that an isocyanate group contained in the crosslinking agent becomes 0.2-2.0 mol to an active hydrogen group of 1 mol contained in the base coating (I) is provided. Wherein the base coating (I) contains the resin (A) whose amount of active hydrogen group is 0.01-0.20 mol/100 g and the pigment (B), and the crosslinking agent (II) contains a compound containing at least two or more isocyanate groups in a molecular. The organic solvent contains a hydrocarbon solvent of 80 wt.% or more chosen from aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent and high boiling aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, and the formed film whose pigment volume concentration is 30-70%, and the elongation percentage of the formed film is 30-150% in an atmosphere of 20°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
