PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight high rigidity material, in which the generation of eddy current is suppressed.;SOLUTION: This SiC-Si composite material is composed of SiC as a reinforcing material and Si as a matrix and has 10^-4 to 1 Ωcm electric resistivity. Relating to the material, the SiC-Si composite material containing 40-80 vol.% SiC is also provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
