INDIVIDUAL SEGMENT TYPE BONDING WEIGHT FOR CORRECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent frequent changes of a coil which is somewhat hard to handle.;SOLUTION: A weight, which corrects the imbalance of a rotating element, contains the prescribed number of dispersion/arrangement type weight pieces. The number of the dispersion/arrangement type weight pieces are selected so as to generally correct the imbalance. One piece of a double coated tape has a sufficient length so that the prescribed number of the dispersion/ arrangement type weight pieces are bonded. The side of the tape, which is opposite to the side to which the dispersion/arrangement type weight pieces are bonded, is protected by a removable film. The film reduces the possibility of contamination until the removable film is removed so as to permit the mounting of the weight to the rotating element by exposing the side of the tape opposite to the side to which the dispersion/arrangement type weight pieces are bonded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
