PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the manufacturing a geared motor at low cost and facilitate to make a series of them by separating a casing containing a worm gear mechanism from a casing containing a parallel gear mechanism, which are different in the ease of assembly.;SOLUTION: A worm reduction gear G2, within a casing 60, has a first-step reduction section 40 for reduction the rotation of a motor shaft 28 (an input shaft 34) by means of a parallel gear mechanism, and a second-step reduction section that receives the output from the first-step reduction 40 being as the rotation of a worm shaft 48, further reduces it by means of a worm gear mechanism and outputs the reduced rotation from an output shaft 54 perpendicular to the motor shaft 28. The casing 60 can be separated into or combine a first casing 62 containing the first-step reduction section and a second casing 64 containing the second-step reduction section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
