PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method with which a thin-film PTC material can be obtained by easily dispersing a conductive material and a thermoplastic resin in a PTC material, without deteriorating the PTC characteristics of the PTC material.;SOLUTION: In this method, the thin-film PTC material is manufactured by separately evaporating the conductive material 16 and thermoplastic resin 17 under vacuum condition and solidifying the obtained evaporated gases, by bringing the gases into contact with the upper surface of a substrate 11. The evaporated gases of the material 16 and resin 17 can be vapor-deposited on the substrate 11, after the gases have been mixed with each other in a mixing section 22 or they can be vapor-deposited alternately on the substrate 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
