METHOD FOR SIMULATING DEFORMATION OF OVEN WALL OF CARBONIZATION CHAMBER IN COLE OVEN AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE COKE OVEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method capable of predicting the deformation of an oven wall in case of loading on the oven wall of a coke oven, a method for effectively operating the coke oven based on the simulation method, a method for efficiently repairing the coke oven, and a method for planning the coke oven.;SOLUTION: The simulation method is to simulate deformation of an oven wall when a load is acted on the oven wall of a carbonization chamber of a coke oven of horizontal type by a calculation using a discrete element method. The method for operating the coke oven is to regulate the operational condition of the coke oven by regulating the deformation value of the oven wall calculated from the simulation to an allowable range. Further, the method for repairing the coke oven is to preferentially repair the oven wall by judging that a repairing is necessary when the deformation value of the oven wall deviates from the allowable range. Further, the method for planning the coke oven is to plan a stronger oven wall structure by selecting a less deforming structure by simulating deformations against loads for various oven wall structures.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
