PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sand in a sand-containing artificial lawn court or the like from running off due to rainfall, especially prevent running off into a peripheral U-shaped groove by utilizing a difference in level, so that the top face of the U-shaped groove is effectively used as a place for jogging.;SOLUTION: In the sand-containing artificial lawn court 1 with sand 2 mixed in the artificial lawn 3, a sand runoff preventing artificial lawn 5 formed by an artificial lawn 4 having a plant length H larger than the height of the artificial lawn 3 of the sand-containing artificial lawn court 1 is laid adjacent to the sand-containing artificial lawn court 1. The sand runoff preventing artificial lawn 5 is laid up to the top face of a lid 9 for a drain ditch 8, so that the sand 2 is not contained at all in the sand runoff preventing artificial lawn 5 or the sand 2 is contained a little in rather closer to the adjacent sand- containing artificial lawn court 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
