PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal melting type ice storage device which enables lowering of exit temperature of brine at the time of melting. SOLUTION: The internal melting type ice storage device 1 consists of plated steel pipes or stainless steel pipes, and plated steel plates or stainless steel plates, or the like, and comprises a closed water tank 3 in which a given amount of water 5 is stored, an ice storage coil 7 which is disposed lower than the water level in the tank 3, an air pump 9 which is disposed above the tank 3, or the like. The ice storage coil 7 consists of a number of rows of horizontal serpentine tubes 11, the plated steel plates or the stainless steel plates, or the like, and is constituted of a spacer 13 for binding the serpentine tubes 11 and a frame 15, a brine introducing pipe 17 and a brine take-out pipe 19, and air piping 21 which is connected to the air pump 9. The air piping 21 is formed with a number of air blowout holes 23 right beneath the spacer 13 and the frame 15.
