METHOD FOR CONTROLLING NATURAL CIRCULATION FLOW BY DIFFERENT TYPE OF GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a method for controlling natural circulation flow by a different type of gas on control of the quantity of flow in a device utilizing the natural circulation flow of a specific gas utilized in industrial plants for the purpose of preventing air from leaking when an accident that piping is broken in a primary cooling system occurs in a high-temperature gas-cooled nuclear reactor and the purpose of controlling natural circulation flow in general industrial plants as well. SOLUTION: In the device for generating the natural circulation flow of a specific gas by heating one side of an inverted-U-shaped or loop-shaped channel, by injecting or emitting a gas of which the density is different from that of the specific gas into the device, the occurrence of the natural circulation flow is prevented, and the leakage of gases present outside the channel piping is prevented in the case that the channel piping is broken.
