PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry stirring method and apparatus capable of effectively preventing the dispersion of a slurry or the sedimentation of a solid component, capable of uniformizing the concentration of the slurry discharged from a plurality of discharge nozzles and not requiring a complicated structure like the shaft seal part of a rotary shaft in the slurry discharge container of a slurry discharge apparatus constituted so as to discharge the slurry in the slurry discharge container (23) from a plurality of the discharge nozzles (24) provided to the discharge container in the longitudinal direction thereof.;SOLUTION: A part of the slurry is drawn out of the drowing-out port 1 of the slurry discharge container and the drawn-out slurry is sent under pressure through circulating piping (4) equipped with a circulating pump (3) to be returned to the slurry discharge container from a slurry return port (2).
