PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate control and regulation of a schedule expressed by a Gantt chart.;SOLUTION: This disclosed schedule control and regulation device by the Gantt chart is provided with a data input part 1, a mouse operation determining part 2, a data updating part 3 for generating an output for updating a data of the Gantt chart, a data storage part 4 for storing a program and an input Gantt chart data, a data processing part 5 for conducting updating processing for the Gantt chart based on the program and the data in the data storage part 4 and an output from the data updating part 3, and a data display part 6 for displaying a data of a processed result as the Gantt chart. In the device, respective processes are arranged along a direction corresponding to the lapse of period while expressed as working rectangulars, the respective working rectangulars are connected by working interval lines to display the Gantt chart, a moving indication is imparted by a mouse drag operation in a specified area of the objective working rectangular, and the Gantt chart is allowed thereby to be updated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
