PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Gantt chart editor, a Gantt chart editing method and a Gantt chart editing program for enabling a user to move an object to a correct position by a familiar operation.SOLUTION: The Gantt chart editor 100 includes: an input section 120 including a main body layer 1210 which is a region for performing an operation of scrolling an object (Bar) and a floating layer 1220 which is a region provided to be overlapped with the main body layer 1210 and to separate the main body layer from an influence of the operation of scrolling, and turns the object (Bar) moved from the main body layer 1210 into a floating state; and a control unit 110 for moving the accepted object (Bar) to the floating layer 1220, turning the object into a floating state, and performing control so that a background, which is an object other than the object (Bar) turned into the floating state, is scrolled in the main body layer 1210 and the object (Bar) in the floating state is returned to the main body layer 1210.
