METHOD FOR SHIFTING SERVICE CONTRACTOR'S DATA IN COMMUNICATION SERVICE SUPPLY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which, even while a service contractor's data is being shifted, is capable of continuing a communication service, changing the contractor's data and handing over the change to new facilities.;SOLUTION: Prior to shifting a contractor's data from an existing communication service control unit 1i to a new communication service control unit 2, a party to which a call connection is routed is switched to the new communication service control unit 2. At each call connection, the new communication service control unit 2 acquires data from the existing communication service control unit 1i and writes the contractor's data in its database DB, and the communication service is continued by the contractor's data. At this point, if there occurs an access again to the terminal of the service contractor whose data has been shifted, only the database DB of the new communication service control unit 2 is referred to and no access is made to the existing communication service control unit 1i. When there occurs a change in the contractor's data thereafter, the new communication service control unit 2 can cope with it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
