PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method able to manufacture with good reproducibility, in a short time and at a low temperature, a lanthanum system compound oxide high density sintered body which is usable as an electrolyte member a solid oxide type fuel cell and has a perovskite crystal structure with high oxide ionic conductivity.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the lanthanum-based compound oxide high density sintered body with a perovskite crystal structure shown by a specific general equation is provided. The method is for manufacturing the lanthanum-based compound oxide high density sintered body with the perovskite crystal structure by sintering a compound oxide powder including each element at the same ratio as that in the general equation as a raw material with direct pulse current under pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
