PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bibliographic information control method, a bibliographic information control system, a control device, and a recording medium capable of reducing a work burden required for controlling a bibliography indicating an attribute of books possessed in the libraries and a cost burden required for maintaining the system. SOLUTION: This control device 10 is used for making access to a bibliographic database 10a for collectively controlling bibliographic information and a library database 10b for controlling information on the books possessed in the respective libraries 200, 200, etc., and the control device 10 and terminal devices 20 controlled by the respective libraries 200, 200, etc., are connected by a communication network NW to collectively control the bibliographic information and the information on the books possessed in the plural libraries 200, 200, etc.
