METHOD FOR PROVIDING THERMAL POWER PLANT MAINTENANCE SERVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: Not only to speedily perform a periodical check in a thermal power plant or to speedily deal with an abnormality when the abnormality occurs but also to provide a suitable maintenance service at a low cost. SOLUTION: The thermal power plant maintenance system provided with a control device 1 for controlling the operating state or process amount of plant equipment; and a maintenance tool 2 for maintaining a controller 11 for control built in the control device 1, is further provided with a remote maintenance device 3 for performing a function equal to a function provided in the maintenance tool 2 and the maintenance service of the thermal power plant is offered by mutually exchanging plant data and data on the state of the controller 1 for control through a communication line 8 between the maintenance tool 2 and the remote maintenance device 3.
