PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic control system for portable electric equipment, with which a limit is applied to portable electric equipment only inside a space requiring the limit and that limit is not applied outside that space.;SOLUTION: In this portable electric equipment control system, automatic switching is enabled without necessity to ask a person of photographing inhibition or flash use inhibition. Namely, inside the entrance of a place or space where off-limit is applied, a radio signal, on which a control signal is loaded, is transmitted to the area where a person entering the off-limit space passes, and the portable electric equipment, which receives this control signal, changes a photographing mode into photographing inhibited state or switches from a flash photographing allowed state to a flash stopping state. On the other hand, a radio wave, on which a off-limit cancel signal is loaded, is transmitted to the area where a person leaving the off-limit space passes, outside the entrance as well and the portable electric equipment, which receives this off-limit cancel signal, recovers an ordinary using state or cancels the off-limit as a most significant function.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
