PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete wall thermal insulation method giving no adverse effects on living environment such as generating mold and decaying members due to dew condensation, when insulating the concrete wall of the building by an interior thermal insulation method. SOLUTION: This concrete wall thermal insulation method is treated on the concrete surface of the necessary thermal insulation range in conformity with the thermal insulation provisions under the new public criteria for energy conservation, etc., and basically constituted of a wall waterproof coating part 1a, a floor waterproof coating part 1b, an attic waterproof coating part 1c, a beam waterproof coating part 1d, thermal insulating material parts 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d facing to the respective waterproof coating parts, an air layer part 3 secured between the water proof coating parts 1a, 1c, and 1d and the thermal insulating material parts 2a, 2c, and 2d, a catchment groove part provided for collecting condensed water in the upper part of the waterproof coating part lb, a catchment groove side part 5, and a closure part 6 attached for stopping the flow of the air layer. This method is so constituted that the condensed water is collected and stored in the catchment groove part 4 and sucked by a water suction device 7 at appropriate frequencies.
