PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the infiltration of muddy water and dust without impairing the portability and the operability of a camera.;SOLUTION: The outside of a camera except a lens barrel is covered with a case 110 excellent in elasticity, and the lens barrel of the camera is covered with a lens barrel protection unit 150 formed of hard plastic material. An upper surface part 110d, a back surface part 110e and a transparent part 126 covering over an operating member concerning the manual operation of the camera and a transparent member provided on the surface of the camera are formed of transparent material having flexibility, and the infiltration of the muddy water and the dust is prevented without impairing the function, the portability and the operability of the camera.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
