"METHODS FOR INHIBITING ZTNF4 ACTIVITY IN A MAMMALIAN AND THE BR43X2, TACI OR BCMA RECEIVER-CONNECTING COUPLING AND TO PRODUCE AN ISOLATED, EXPRESSED, CULTURED, POLYCLEOTIDE, POLYCLEOTIDE CELL, ELEVATED, CELL, ELEVATED CELL. Soluble secreted tumor necrosis factor receptor polypeptides, polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides, and related compositions and methods are described. The polypeptides comprise a cysteine-rich repeat, which is homologous to other tumor necrosis factor receptors, such as transmembrane activator and CAML-interactor (TACI). Polypeptides can be used to detect ligands, agonists and antagonists. Polypeptides can also be used in methods that modulate B cell activation.
