"POLYESTER COMPOSITION ABLE TO BE DYED WITH ACID, MIXTURE, POLYESTER COMPOSITION DYED WITH ACID, PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A POLYESTER COMPOSITION ABLE TO BE DYED WITH ACID AND COMPOUND". The present invention relates to a polyester composition capable of being acid-dyed comprising (a) a polyester and (b) secondary amine or secondary amine salt in an amount effective to promote acid dyeing ability. The polyester composition capable of being acid-dyed can be prepared by mixing in melting: the polyester; and the polymeric additive prepared from (i) secondary amine unit (s) or secondary amine salt containing triamine and (ii) one or more other monomer and / or polymer units. A polymeric additive comprises the polyamide selected from the group consisting of polyimino-bisalkylene-terephthalamide, -isophthalamide, and -6-naphthalamide, and their salts. In addition, the present invention relates to polymeric additives, mixtures, molded articles (e.g., fibers and films), dyeing processes, and processes for the preparation of an acid-dyeing polyester composition.
