"MODIFIED E.COLI ENTEROTOXIN II SIGNAL PEPTIDE AND A MICROORGANISM EXPRESSING A PEPTIDE FUSION PROTEIN AND A HETEROLOGICAL PROTEIN". A heterologous protein is produced by: (i) culturing a microorganism transformed with an expression vector comprising a gene encoding a modified B.coli enterotoxin II signaling peptide, fused to the heterologous protein to produce and secrete the heterologous protein to periplasm, the modified B.coli enterotoxin II signal peptide is obtained by replacing at least one of the second, fourth, fifth, twelfth, twenty and twenty second amino acids of the B.coli enterotoxin II signal peptide of the following amino acid sequence ( SRQ ID NO: 1) with another amino acid, provided that at least one of the second and fourth amino acids of the modified peptide is lysine; and (ii) recovering the heterologous protein from the periplasm.
