he present invention refers to the use of a product deriving from the plant Pistacia lentiscus var. chia of the Anacardiaceae family as an antioxidant, as wound healing inductor and as cytostatic. The invention also refers to the utilisation of theproduct in the preparation of pharmaceutical concoctions. The pharmaceutical concoction dosage form may be selected from a group which includes, among others, tablets, cremes, ointments, solutions, suspensions, gels (aqueous gels), shampoos, epidermal and transdermal patches, as well as systems for its administration through the mucus membranes and systems for its administrations through the mucosa of the oral cavity.
