The invention relates to medicine, namely to psychiatry and engineering psychology, and may be used is case of professional exhaustion, psychophysiological tension, as well as for increasing the capacity for work, self-training.Summary of the invention consists in that the patient is acted upon with a light signal in 3 stages, where in the first stage it is acting upon with light, which is emitted from one spherical element, dispersing light, in the second stage from another spherical element, having a smaller dispersion area than the first element, and in the third stage simultaneously from both spherical elements, the duration of the procedure constituting 15…60 sec for each stage.It is also claimed a device for luminous stimulation for psychophysiological relaxation, consisting of dispersion elements, a connecting element, inside of which there are installed two transparent spherical surfaces with a smaller diameter, with mounting inside them of a light source. As well as on one of the spherical surfaces with a smaller diameter there are made prominences of different dimensions.
