The present invention discloses a self-propelling irrigation machine including a main elongated pivoted pump at one end to a central pivot and is supported in a plurality of impulsion non-steerable self-propelling towers. An extension pump pivotally secured to another end of the main pump to irrigate the corner field areas. A steerable impulsion tower supports the extension pump and includes a pair of steerable impulsion wheels. The extension pump for control and guide uses GPS receptors as position detectors. The system is comprised of two GPS units, two microprocessors-based intelligent boxes, a communications link run from the pivot of the steerable impulsion unit, and a detector angle to monitoring the angle of the steerable wheel of the corner boom.
