The scooter-type vehicle for personal movement has a frame (7) on which a user stands upright and is provided with a hand grip (4). The vehicle is equipped with an endless running belt (1) on which a user can stand with both feet. Also provided is a driven displacement component (3) and between the running belt and the displacement component is a transmission device (5,6,10) so that a movement of a person on the running belt results in the drive of the displacement component.
