The lift truck (1) for moving a load comprises a horizontal U-shaped frame (2) for load support which has a body (3) and two legs (4). The legs extend along a lifting mechanism (5) for support of a load during movement. On the body of the frame is a wheel (6) for steering the truck. On the legs, via the intermediary of wheel suspensions (7), further wheels (8) are fitted. The wheel suspensions each comprise a fork (9), each of which has two arms (10), between which a wheel block is mounted prior to a wheel being fitted. Each wheel suspension and the frame have an upwardly orientated assembly surface for variable height connection of the frame and each of the suspensions. The assembly surfaces of each of the wheel suspensions and the frame have different sizes.
