The folding bicycle (1) comprises a frame (2) of hollow tubes. To the frame, wheels (3) are fitted. The bicycle also has a saddle (4) and handlebars (5), each connected to the frame by separate tubes (6). Each tube fits into a tube of the frame and is height-adjustable. The saddle and handlebar tubes extend through an extension (7) of the frame which is fixed to the frame by a hinge. The extension can therefore be folded away from the frame around the hinge. The extension is fixed in line with the tube of the frame into which the handlebar tube fits. A fixture expander is used at the outer end of the tube directed towards the frme.
