The positioning edge for a reverse wall is used on railway station platforms on which paving is connected at edge level, the edge being maintained at a predetermined leevel. The reverse wall (1) has a fixture component (2) fixed to it, which has an upper surface (3), opposite sides (4,5) extending downwards along the side edges of the wall and opposing fixture flanges (6,7) projecting above the upper edge (8) of the wall. In the fixture flanges are holes (9) for fixture bolts(10) and through passages (11) for accommodation of adjustment bolts (12). With the aid of the preferably four adjustment bolts, the fixture component can be tipped around first and second axes so that the upper surface (3) is brought to a horizontal position.
