A communication terminal (11) sends an access request to a WWW server (18) through a base station (12) connected to a mobile communication network (13). The access is sent to a relay server (15), where it retrieves the HTML data for the URL requested by the user from the content server (18) through the Internet (14). Also, the relay server (15) acquires the advertisement conditions for that user from the database server (16). This data is used to obtain user-specific advertisement from the advertisement server (17) and advertisement database (17A), which are also connected to the Internet (14). The advertisement server is updated and maintained by advertisers through the advertiser server (19).
