Telecommunications system including a voice controlled, in the network located service that makes it possible for a user of a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) to be connected to a person or function by pronouncing the person's name. The call can be initiated from internal extension under the exchange, from other exchange, or from the Public Switched Telecommunication Network. Further, the destination can be internal extension, or be in the Public Switched Telecommunication Network, at which a CTI-function controls the customer's PBX and sets up a call between the user and wanted extension.
