The machine consists of various handling mechanisms that are arranged in order in a processing line to apply decorating sheets (18) to ceramic supports (16) that are carried by a conveying line (14). The handling mechanisms press a decorating sheet onto each ceramic item as it passes on its way to the firing kiln : An independent claim is included for a method of decorating ceramic items.
