The steam generator housing consists of an upper shell (1) of metal and a lower shell (2) of plastic. The borders (3,5) of the half shells are joined together by means of screws (7). The border (3) of the upper shell (1) is bent inwards and the border (5) of the lower shell (2) has a series of recesses (4) for the insertion of screws (7) that hold the shells together.
