The invention relates to a combined preparation for the oral ingestion of erythromycins in the form of an aqueous suspension containing a) erythromycin, or a derivative, in the form of particles coated with a hydrophile, polymeric, or permeable agent, or an agent that is capable of swelling or soluble in gastric juice, and b) a syrupy base with a pH of 7-9, as second component, separated from the first (a) by a space. Both components are contained in two receptacles constituting a single packaging similar to a kit-of-parts.
