The present invention provides a method of producing a liquid oral or otherwise applicable composition for administration to human beings and animals, a liquid oral or otherwise applicable composition comprising grape polyphenols and use of the composition for the manufacture of a product for functional nutrition, which supports the treating of oncological, kidney and/or liver illness or cancer, chromosome aberrations, alcohol intoxication, paradontosis and/or parodontitis as well as use of the composition for the manufacture of a product for functional nutrition in the production of an anti-mutagenous effect, a haemoprotective effect, a hepatoprotective effect, a nephroprotective effect and/or an immunocorrective effect.
