Manufacturing procedure for a construction component equipped with a very thin marble shingle.Described is a procedure for obtaining components that contains a reduced thickness marble shingle that consist of a translucent marble plate with two limestone layers with an identical surface area as that of the marble, glued to the latter using resin and a previous application of organic colorants on the surface of the marble. The ensemble, formed in this way, folds out, through a longitudinal divide along the centre line of the marble's depth, parallel to the upper faces, giving two pieces equal, each of which consists of a thinner marble shingle with a thickness that is half of the original, and a limestone substrate. After the final operation of polishing the marble layer's surface, the organic colorants are visible in said layer by virtue of the translucency characteristic of the marble used.IMAGE
