GREASELESS MOLD CARRIER AND ALIGNMENT SYSTEM

A greaseless mold carrier and alignment system includesa tie rod bracket on each of a pair of lower tie rods of aninjection molding machine. Each tie rod bracket has a topbearing plate and a side bearing plate. A center moldsection of a stack mold assembly has mold brackets connectedto opposite sides thereof, each mold bracket having sets ofbearing rollers rotatably supported thereon to engagerespective bearing plates. The system provides movingvertical support and lateral alignment to the center moldsection for precise engagement with stationary and movablemold sections of the stack mold assembly of the moldingmachine.
