The present invention shall enable a plurality of users located over a widegeographic areato simultaneously participate in a real-time and/or almost real-timeelectronic environmentwherein users utilizing a networked computer can control and/or manipulate ananimated/virtual character(s) within a simulated virtual environment(s) forthe purpose ofparticipating in simulated sexual acts with other animated/virtual characterscontrolledand/or manipulated by other user(s) concurrently logged on to the system. Thepresentinvention utilizes known technology in a novel way. In the most commonembodiment thepresent invention shall comprise a system comprising several principleelements including aplurality of users utilizing computers (utilizing client application software)integrated witha wide area network arrangement (i. e. (WAN) to a an on-line service'scomputing facility(typically implemented as a plurality of tightly-networked time-sharingcomputers)(collectively called hereinafter "server," ) and which server(s) is capable ofenabling/effectuating all of the functionality of the present invention.
