The invention relates to a method for obtaining individualization job data (instdata) enabling the individualization of articles (1-4), comprising the following steps: provision of a plurality of imaging data sets respectively representing a graphic image of individualizable articles (1-4) from an assortment of articles (20); reception of graphic information (logoinfo) arising from a user (50), said graphic information representing at least one graphic element (logo); provision of graphic data (logodata) based on the received graphic information (logoinfo) in a graphic data format which enables the creation of imaging data sets (imgdata) enhanced by means of a predetermined computer program (prog), respectively representing an image of one of the articles (1-4) from the assortment of articles (20) enhanced by the at least one graphic element (logo), said computer program (prog) enabling configuration parameters for said enhancement to be selectively modified and corresponding individualization data (instdata) to be created for selected configuration data; transmission of the imaging data sets (imgdata), graphic data (logodata) and computer program (prog) to the user (50); reception of the individualization data (instdata) generated by the user (50). The invention also relates to a suitable computer system (12) and a corresponding method to be carried out by the user (50) for creating individualization data (instdata).
