The device comprises means for controlling each of the actuators. It comprises means for selecting an identifier associated with a target configuration of the operating table, and means for providing the user with a sequence of controls of the actuators, said control sequence implemented from the control means enabling to achieve the target configuration associated with the selected identifier.
