A hologram scanner includes a reproducing light source (17) for generating a collimated reproducing light beam (15), a hologram disk (12) being adapted to rotate, and a hologram (11) disposed on the hologram disk for deflecting the reproducing light beam by diffraction so as to scan an image surface (13) by the deflected reproducing light beam (16) during a rotation of the hologram disk.
