The invention relates to methods and facilities for ascertaining call number information of subscribers of at least one telecommunications network, especially of a mobile communications network, whereby the call number of at least the subscriber to be called is initially unknown to the subscriber who is calling. In a first embodiment, the invention is characterized in that the call number of the subscribers is dynamically associated with a personal and/or individual attribute/registration number of the subscribers in a central facility connected to the communications network, and the call number is stored in a database. At said facility, the call number can be precisely ascertained on demand based on the attribute/registration number and can be made available to other subscribers. Another embodiment provides that the call number of the subscribers can be transmitted from their terminal in defined time intervals and in a fixed transmitting range and can be received by terminals of other subscribers located within this transmitting range.
